We’re a TERPECA Finalist!

Oh snap! The Mole of the Mountain is a Top Escape Rooms Project Finalist for 2025! We are one of only 378 games in the ENTIRE WORLD that are finalists. You have to have played at least 200 escape rooms to even nominate a game, and usually not that many big time escape room players make it out to Cape Cod. So needless to say, it’s an honor just to be nominated, and especially to be a finalist!

While we don’t expect to be a winner as there are so many insanely amazing international big hitters on the list that enthusiasts will literally travel around the world to play, we are thrilled just to be a part of it. THANK YOU!

We’re Hiring Game Hosts!

We are actively looking for part time game hosts. No application necessary! Here are the details:
  • Job Title – Escape Room Game Host
  • Company Name – Upside Down Escape Games
  • Seasonal or Year-Round – This is a part time year round position for weekends only. Additional days/hours available during school breaks and summers. Weekends and some holidays required.
  • Relevant information (brief description of duties, etc.) – No escape room experience necessary (although it certainly doesn’t hurt) for this one of a kind job opportunity! We are looking for socially outgoing, friendly, patient and customer service oriented individuals ages 18+ to help run games and make sure players have a memorable experience. This includes all aspects of the experience from greeting players, explaining the rules of the game, closely monitoring via camera while they are in the game to offer hints when requested, and cleaning and resetting the room after they finish. Being able to focus for long periods of time and having a strong attention to detail is a MUST, as well as being comfortable with public speaking, strong memorization skills, and being able to think on the fly.

Not much time left to play The Lift!

The Lift will be finishing it’s run at the Cape Cod Mall at the end of the month. The game operates daily starting at noon through 8/31/25.

This is a 10-15 minute mini escape game that we have temporarily installed at the mall. The concierge at your hotel has offered you a free puppet show, so you hop in the elevator to check it out. What could possibly go wrong? I mean, who doesn’t love getting trapped in an elevator with their closest friends?

Recommended for ages 10+ due to a couple creepy/startling moments, but younger players allowed at parents discretion, with a minimum age requirement of 5.

Please note we are not doing advanced reservations or ticket sales for this one, instead tickets can be purchased in person at our booth across from Ryan’s Ten Pin Eatery.

Minimum/Maximum Team Size: 2-4

Game Length: 10-15 minutes

Cost: $10 per player.

We are excited to announce that we won a Golden Lock Award for our newest game, The Mole of The Mountain. We are beyond thrilled to receive this honor from Room Escape Artist. A massive THANK YOU to Jeff and Ted as well, without them this game wouldn’t have been possible. It feels good to be recognized for all the blood, sweat and tears that went into creating this piece of junk ⛰️🗑️🧩
